There are some basic items needed when creating a portfolio.
I have created many in the past and the key items I need are quite affordable so no worries people your purse wont feel any pain!
The main items are:
x1 portfolio file (now I always buy mine from Amazon.co.uk as its cheaper than any other store)
x1 pad of A3 paper (again this is bought from Amazon.co.uk)
x1 set of sketch pencils (HB, B, B2, H2 are the pencils you need. Try sketching and you will soon find the pencil that's best for you! I tend to use the HB and B2)
x1 set of colouring pencils (I find Crayola the best!)
x1 set of scissors (normal scissors nothing fancy)
x? magazines (you can also use the Internet to find images to put on your moodboard)
x1 glue stick (not PVA but glue)
x1 bottle of PVA (now PVA)
x? Croquis (nothing complicated, this is just the outline sketch of your person. Try to have a variety of poses as it looks much more professional) The website you might find useful is this one -> http://www.designersnexus.com/design/free-fashion-templates/
So these are the only basics I seem to remember that are useful. I shall go out and buy these items and then make a Youtube video so you guys can know how much the items cost and where I bought them from etc.
Exciting Stuff EH?
XOXO
